Who am I?

Again, my name is Kemal Lowenthal. I have many different hats that I wear: I am a husband to an amazing woman and father to three beautiful children, I am a teacher at my Alma Mater, teaching crafts to grades 5-12, I am a potter, woodworker and maker. In all the realms of my life, service, sacrifice and love are at the center. I have a hard time being still, in not helping others and not putting other peoples needs before me. Throwing pots allows me the time to be with myself in quiet, to focus and recenter myself as my hands reform the clay to become vessels of service for others.

I am so glad and honored that you are taking a look at my work and please, if you have questions, don’t hesitate to reach out.

I am happy to discuss commission work.
